can i replace my fuel pump on a 1998 sportster1800 for something else?

i have a 1998 seadoo spotster 1800 and im having a problem with my fuel pump(one of them went bad) iv been looking for that pump and i havent being able to find that pump anywhere. does anyone know if i could use a different alternative meaning a differnt pump may be a electrical one ? any suggestions
