can i jump start my 2005 rxp

i lost my lanyard key, i tried to jump start it and it starts but it soon dies off, does it have to do with me jump starting it?

Not sure what you mean by "jumpstart", but be careful with connecting to any external power source, it can easily damage your ski.

Also, I think you won't be able to run your ski without using the lanyard due to the DESS theft protection system, it reads the digital code from the lanyard. You must take your ski to a seadoo service center to have a new lanyard programmed, he will want to see proof of ownership.

sorry i used the wrong term, what i did was to conect the 2 wires that go to the switch instead of usin the lanyard and it starts but it dies 4 seconds later.

Understood. A seadoo cannot be "hotwired", as far as I know.

i did found the keys and still does the same, it only stars with the lerners key and only for 4 seconds and then shuts off
