Can heater be installed on 2 stroke boat

Theoretically yes, but the problem is the water never really gets that hot. I'm not sure how hot the water actually gets, but if it the motor gets hot to the touch it's overheating so the heater output would be so low it would hardly be noticeable.

Dan, That's an ac heater, personally I don't think a dc heater exists that would put out enough heat to do the job. There are propane or alcohol heaters but that opens a whole other can of worms about safety issues. And even if a dc heater exists you would need to somehow seal the boat up to retain the heat. Personally I just don't think there's a practical way to do it with a Seadoo 2-stroke boat. I could be wrong, I think I was wrong once last year. :reddevil:

A stern drive mercruiser I could see doing it, rig up an automobile heater with a blower, but the engine temp. on a 2-stroke Seadoo the engine temp. would be too low.

Here's one for a stern drive or inboard, pretty pricey.

If you run a series 24 battery you can use up to a 300 watt forced air DC ceramic element heater and your stator will keep up with it. Or, maybe use a Zippo lighter cause 300W of heat isn't really enough to warm your toes under the dash :)

But you can in fact purchase such a heater marketed for Marine use and priced accordingly.

Hold im talking about the ski boat heaters even the seadoo 210 wake has this type of heater on it. The heater is ment for you after sking or swiming to warm you on a cool morning. It has a hose attached to pull to your seat and tuck under towel. I just didnt know if there was a way to install this type on a 2 stroke

No, you need the hot exhaust manifold water from an true inboard V-8 to run one of those as typically found in the top tier ski manufacturer's boats. There's not enough volume of hot water produced by the little Rotax 2 stroke motor to make that work.

Actually I think he has one of the stowaway heaters that you can grab and put in your lap on another boat and was asking if it was possible to hook one up on a Doo, not enough volume of hot water to get one warm. I had one on my old Mastercraft and it was really nice when you came back on board and wrapped up with it in your towel, kept leg cramps away.

The best thing I can suggest is re-upholster your seats with heaters in them.
I rip them out of automotive seat covers.

I do it for all my motorcycle seats. Makes a difference in how you feel, not really how hot you get but it does take the nip off.
