Can anyone ID this RX model and year?

Buddy has a friend who has a pile of skis for sale, and i mean a literal pile. Can anyone ID if this a a DI or carb model and perhaps the year?

YES. i feel like a retard not thinking of that. so its standard carb then. Any way to tell the year? he wont be able to get me the hull number for a week or so. Thanks, Dave

Sea Doo Model Reference (1988-2010)
If it were an XP, GSX or SPX I would probably be able to tell by looking but not this one. You can try and match it up with one on the link I sent or google up different RX model years and see if you can figure it out that way? I would guess in and around 1998 but that’s a complete guess

From what I can find online, I think 2000 was the only year for carbureted RX

Correction, I guess the RX came carbureted in 2000, 2001 and 2002. Either way they would basically be the same machine, carbureted 951

It is a 2001 seadoo RX carb 951.
2000 was silver and red, 2002 was yellow and black.
