buying a new starter

When i connect my starter with jumper cables it sparks very hard like a short circuit.

it don't turn either.

I found one starter motor at city reman for 97 $ + 65 shipping.

would this be a good one

I sent you mail but it said it was undeliverable ,,,,,

I think getting a replacement starter is the way to go in your case.

As the brushes were not touching the armature I suspect damage was done to the windings and or armature..

Can you or a near by shop rebuild it for you?

Most aftermarket starters suck. Personally... I'd check ebay for a good used, factory starter.

The problem is That i only find used starters on eBay but often They do not send it to belgium.

Being in Belgium does present challenges in regards to shipping and what not. I use to fly there once a month, could have brought it and shipped it once I hit the ground. In fact, I have coworkers that still fly there, maybe we can do something.

Kind of looking like no matter what you do will be a gamble to se degree. That said, look at all options and go with the best calculated risk.
