buying 2003 sportster 4tec 155hp…any advice/what to look for

title pretty much says it all, I'm looking at buying a 03 sportster, comes with trailer and cover for $6200. and things i should look for specially when looking it over? i know to check compression, grate, impels, oil level and color, hull, lights, steering, and water test for about 30min to make sure it works lol. anything else? thanks guys:thumbsup:

Your list is accurate. I would also look to see if water gets into the hull during/after operating on the water. Common locations are, rear rub rail leak and the carbon seal.

take it to dealer for a BUDS or candoo hook up. dont trust a seller!!
look at the last service hrs, running hrs, any faults occurred or current, they should be able to do a print out report.
