SO I have a buddy who does marketing/design for Four Winns/Wellcraft out of Cadillac, MI. Here's the latest news! You heard it here first!

jeffBroddle: Rec Boat Holdings, maker of Four Winns, Glastron and Wellcraft brands in Cadillac, today announces it is entering the jet boat segment, re-launching the Scarab brand as a jet boat line, as well as two new jet models in the Glastron line. The new boats are scheduled to roll out as soon as this summer.
A long-term supply agreement with BRP's Marine Propulsion Systems division enables t...he company to power the new boats with its quality Rotax 4-TEC 1503 jet propulsion system.
Roch Lambert, group president for Rec Boat Holdings, said the launch of Scarab and entrance into the jet segment is “the next evolution for the company and is part of the overall business plan of expansion and investment in the marine segment.”

Enjoy

Sorry, had to give you crap.

15 years from now these boats will be the bastard boats like we mostly label the mercs now......We will be telling people "you dont want it, no sea doo dealer works on it and glastron wont work on it either"

Anytime you mix and match, there is great potential for issues...

I truly hope that this relationship works well and serves the public well.

It is nice to see the proven 4-tech engine to remain in the marine industry...

As a Michigander and someone that grew up on a 26 ft Four Winns I'm excited about this and hope they don't end up as bastard boats haha

LOL.. that's exactly my dealer told me... He's like you might not find many dealers working on SeaDoo Boat. But the good thing is that as long as they are building SeaDoo JetSki , We might survive.
