Feels kinda odd posting in the 4 stroke section.....Anyway, the boat I just bought (2004 Speedster 200) has both tachometers inoperable. I havent torn into it yet since it is kinda cold here. But the previous owner said he looked at fuses and obvious electrical stuff. I am assuming they are DOA like a lot of the other speedster 200's out there.
I know a few weeks ago when I was looking for common issues with these boats, i stumbled across a post where someone actually posted the name of the company that makes these gauges. They said that if you mail them back the company was willing to rebuild them for like $30 each and even give you a warranty. I should have commented then to save the post, because for the life of me i cant find it now.
Any help out there? They are over $300 each if you can still order them, thats ridiculous. \
Have I mentioned the search feature here sux. Also, i miss my boat where everything worked. Nothing like starting over. :banghead:
