All I need to know is, do I have to pull the PTO and/or MAG flywheel(s) to split case and install this gear?
I am rebuilding my 717 and originally wanted to replace the crank seals but decided to just do the top end but forgot I ordered this brass gear. I would like to put it in, but I don't want to have to pull the flywheels.
I'm envisioning that I can simply split cases and the rotary shaft easily comes out and I can swap out the gear (I have the rotary shaft puller tool) and put it all back together. Let me know if my rosy visions are really going to be nightmares. =)
