Most people use a slide hammer. I have seen a very cheap tool you can make. the parts to make tool are 1 pvc coupling inside diameter lager than what you will be pulling out. 1 large flat washer to fit the size of coupling you use. 1 long bolt a little longer than coupling and the size of bolt needs to screw into rotory shaft. I just have one question how will you remove all the brass out of engine and out of crank gear so that it does not eat at your center crank seals? and I have allso read that most replace rotary shaft because they get bent most times and do not want to have to redo it a hour after running :cheers:
