Bow Back Rest Install Help!?!?

Recently took the seats out to have them recovered! When dis-assembly was going on I struggled with the Bow Back Rest of my 1995 Seadoo Speedster! After reading and searching I tried ever which way to take it off, but finally I just had to get mean with it! Upon inspection the back rest was riveted to the Hull and I have no way of reaching the front of the boat to take that bracket off!

Any help would be greatly appreciated to put the rest back on!

Thank you!

You could cover the entire back of the cushion area with Velcro and mate it up to the hull of the boat. Then it would be removable and not have to worry about any nuts and bolts and dealing with finding a way to screw with dealing with the hull.

hi had the same problem with mine when I did it
what I did was drill a 4 inch hole on the base seat so you could reach up and remove the nut from the bar that's still there
have a picture what I did some where
I posted the same picture some where on here just need to find it
