Yep, your right Nam. That's a lot of weight on the tongue.

You position the rear two further back. That and the double axles. The sideways ski can't legally be over 102" but who's counting...

I have converted a two place trailer into a three place trailer...BUTTTTT The two skis in the back aren't all that big, one is my 96 GSX and the other is our 94 Pro VXR...i added a third rail up on the front, but I am only carrying one of our standups, which is usually our 85 JS550 and a cargo box as well. Seems to pull well with my GMC Envoy, no troubles but the Kawasaki cant weigh more than 300 pounds i would guess

someone wanna tell me how you load and unload the sideways one anyways? haha
Actually, hardly any different, unloading our standup we just scoot the car back a little further and it drops right in, dont even have to really lift it onto the rails. Of course I wouldnt recommend this without having a 4wd car...if only had rear wheel drive I could imagine you would become a youtube fail video fairly quickly! Lol

how about front wheel drive wagon? haha

my suggestion is to put a hitch on the wife's car, let her pull a single.
but i'm assuming you've thought this thru b4 you bought #3

i just picked up a 3 place trailer for 6 bills.enough room for 2 3seaters and my 96 xp sideways at the front.
attach it to the back of the 5th whl,n off we go!

Yea, she doesnt want a hitch on her Accord, and, I'd rather just take my truck then have 2 vehicals down there.

if i was putting anything bigger than a stand-up on a trailer like that, i'd want a sailboat trailer style telescoping tongue. especially down here in tx where the lakes have shallow ramps and they grown the slickest, nastiest crap on them. you can barely walk on it. even with 4x4 i won't put all four tires in the water.

Ive actually seen two double trailers attached to each other. The first trailer had a hitch attached I believe its illegal though at least in my state if you pull two trailers its suppose to be with a fifth wheel.
Those who have trailers with front for a stand up do you have pics that was something I was doing over winter. Ive got a shorelander double with 96 xp and 98gsxl will be putting 87 650 on front. Ive been just putting it in bed of truck but its getting old

I just built a 4 place trailer...it took ALOT of time and effort to design but its finally done....I was going to make a build thread on it but didnt have time to take the pics.... I also have a 2 place that sit one in fron of the other instead of side by side...it makes it alot easier to load and unload...and it looks cool :)))))

for those with more than a 2 place trailer, PICTURES PLEASE :) it's always fun to see

and yea triple towing is illegal in FL too :(

i havebeen trying to upload a pic of my 4 place that i built and i cant get it to show up for some reason...ill keep on it

I will take a picture when i get back into town, but it really isnt that hard. Just put a couple of 2x4's covered with carpet, at attach it in the front however you want to some rails of the trailer. Wont be in town til the 16th so Ill try and get a picture then

For the size, should have made it into a 4 bed right away, but nice and solid .

If you guys build a +3 place trailer for 3 "Sit-down" skis... do it safe please !!! That is a lot of weight, and should require brakes on the axle.

but in my opinion, if u make it on a normal 2 place trailer, it'll make the tongue really really hard to lift, cause i can already see a noticeable difference when i have my toolbox on the front of the trailer and when it is off
