run it (runs good) then shut it down for 10 minutes then try to restart and sometimes one or the other motor will sputter and stall and then after a few tries it reluctantly starts while the other motor purrs along.

on several occasions after startup, just as i start to give it gas, both motors stall simultaneously as if it ran out of gas. odd. makes me doubt things like a carb issue...just seems like it ran out of gas (but didn't...i restart and it runs great).

thanks for any input.

The Seadoo boats seems to have a restart issue after sitting pertaining to fresh air.

Run the blower to force out the bilge air for four minutes to seeing that makes a difference.

By running the blower it pulls in fresh air as it pushes out poor quality air.

Yep... if I don't run the blower after sitting.. mine will cough and sputter. (even die)

But... it could be a carb issue. If they haven't been serviced in a while... it can't hurt to clean them, and check the filters in the system.

the blower tip is excellent and will allow me to rest easy. The only other boat's i've owned is a smaller catalina sailboat with a small outboard kicker and my current C&C sailboat with a Yanmar inboard. no blower needed for the diesel fuel. I keep forgetting to run the blower and when i do it's only for 30 seconds at most. I'm probably going to blow myself up if i don't start getting into the habit of running the blower as directed (4 min). It will be helpful to know that the motors will sputter otherwise.

thanks again

If you don't run it, eventually it may not mater... It really is a safety concern. The fact that the engine does not start should be enough to tell you how the fumes and or lack of oxygen is stored within the hull.

Use the blower to clear the bad out and get the fresh in...
