Bombardier not turning over brand new battery

2000 Sea doo bombardier rx. The engine wont turn over, thought maybe it was the battery so i bought a brand new one for $70. Checked all fuses. And when i go to start it , All you hear is tick tick tick tick from the starter relay. What can be wrong? the entire motor and starter only has about 8 hours on it. I then changed out the spark plugs with brand new NGK's. still not even a little chance of the motor trying to turn over.. any help would be aprreciated thanks

Where that..tik,tik,tik is, thats the solenoid, jump those post with either screwdriver or heavy gauge wire, see what happens

I tryed jumping the relay, All it kept doing is sparking sparking and the bolts started to melt a little so i stopped trying. still nothing now the ticking sound is just one tick but really fast and continous , BUt still no hope

I use a pair of insulated channel-locks to jump the silenoid. Seems to work fine for me.
