hello water bike havers.... i was wondering; is there an alternative to the bombadier lube for spraying into motor whaen not in use and other metal fitting's???? this can of lube is almost $15, what a rip... i have heard of a product called PRO-AXIS but cant find it anywhere... and i know alot of you will come back with "just use WD4o".... hell no.... it's not a true water propeller, and furthermore not reccomended (typo?) for marine use...further more is primarily white spirit based... just all in all probably not the best for the lube for the doo's....:(

I just use a can of silicone spray. Seems to work fine.

Oops...I just reread your post. I do not spray it into the engine. I use the fogging oil for that. I use silicone to coat everything in the engine compartment.

lol...do you fog every sunday before you store for the week??? one thing i read in the trusty book was to spray a lil lube into the carbs while running, and a lil in the top of the cylinder if your gonna store them for more than a day... and it says to use the bomb-lube... from what i understand fogging oil is more for storing them for long periods of time like winter...or am i just lost????? what silicone spray do you use... somebody also told me to spray some white lith on the linkages exposed to water...true??? if so i got this isht in me garage made by "gunk" it is a white lithium grease spray, use it or f it??? i dunno, is it worth the $12 a can just to kill all these birds with one stone??? then when the cold rolls in jus go buy a lil can of fogger? thanks Foster

I dont spray anything in the engine during the spring/summer. When I am busy, the boat may sit for a month in between uses. I just make sure to start it when i take it out of water and run the throttle up to blow the water out. Then it is fine to sit in my garage. Never had a problem yet.

I think spraying if it sits more than a day is kind of overkill.

cool thats kinda what i was tinkin too... and i live in az, i think one of the driest places in this great nation....thanks
