I've been paying nearly $15/can for the Bombardier Lube at my local Seadoo dealership. I noticed that Princess Auto has 3-In-One Silicone Lubricant for less than $5/can.

Any opinions on using the 3-In-One "cheapie" option for my engine compartment spraydowns? Since I'm mostly in salt water, I don't want to cheap-out if it's going to cost me more down the road!

I have found that Fluid Film (which you can get at Canadian Tire for about $12) works better than anything else I have tried. It isn't much cheaper than the Bombardier Lube but works much better.

That Bombardier lube is really expensive. But I also have found it to be perhaps the best. Fogging oil and WD-40 have been some of my preferred alternatives - but they just don't cling the same way the lube does.
