If you want easy with a warranty then your only option is SBT.
If you want to do it yourself then get a set of good used cases from Westside Powersports Seadoo and OEM seals and gaskets.

I can see your oil fittings are blue so someone ran the wrong oil at some point. There is no blue or green oil approved to run in a seadoo that I have seen.

Okay thanks .
Good eye .previous owner used some Walmart stuff. Boat came with 7 gallons. But I filled it with seadoo stuff.

mixing the two could lead to clogging your injection system.

This is very possible and a big concern when you swap oils. I will say though that I recently did some testing with the Pennzoil Multipurpose and the new XPS E-Tec to look for gelling, and they are compatible as far as mixing goes. I’m not positive that the Supertech stuff is still being made by Pennzoil, but I know it was at one point. If you haven’t had any gelling issues at this point, I think you’re pretty safe and the additive packages are compatible.

I don't believe there are any bad oils out there anymore, just the wrong one for the application. I recommend using the correct oil engineered for the specific purpose though, and highly suspect of marketing strategies.

I remember those those Bosch Platinum Fours! We actually did a back to back dyno test on them back in the day... An LS1 Trans Am actually made four less HP with those compared to the regular old NGK copper core plugs! Marketing at its finest!

In my opinion it's not worth risking an engine and the summer season by mixing oils. If you suspect it isn't correct it's pretty easy to drain, rinse and refill and will only cost you a $12 oil filter.

This is what I bought at seadoo store....yet its blue .its what they said to use.
Although I've only put about 3 hours on it b4 the bolt wiggled loose and fell into valve....

Both motors were running just fine though, I had just rebuilt carbs to specs and they were smoking just a hair when warming up...little lean.

I have never seen Seadoo mineral oil that is blue, it has always been golden brown. Are you sure they weren't filling it from a bulk container?

The oil that came with that label was blue? That’s not right at all... It should be almost the color of honey. If you legitimately bought that oil in the retail container, I think I’d be on the phone with BRP telling them about it, because something shady is going on...

No it was sealed gallon.
Theres a good chance it had some blue Walmart stuff in tank still. So I'm not ruling that out.
I'll drain and register b4 new motor arrives...July 15 or so.

Still, the issue was it ate a bolt. But I do want to run the right mix, so this is good to hear all this feed back.

I understand that it was mechanical damage and the oil issue is unrelated. It just doesn’t look right... Is that still on the first tank of oil since it’s been switched?
