I live in nc do all the states have to take it. Do i have to take the pwc test and the boating test.

Here's a quote I found on BoatUS website about NC boating reg's and safe boating classes:

"After May 1, 2010, every person under the age of 26 must complete a NASBLA approved boating education course before operating any vessel propelled by a motor of 10 HP or greater in the state of North Carolina."

The best way to know the boating regulations for your state is to take a safe boating class. Every one should, whether required to or not.
