I am attempting to start my challenger 1800 for the first time this year, I should have adequate power from the battery. when I try to start either engine all that happens is a buzzing sound from a black box that the power runs through, It was running great when I last took it out. any suggestions?

Sounds like a bad battery. Have you had the battery load tested? Mine went bad over the off-season and would not hold a charge for over a week. Pull the battery and run to an automotive store to have them load test it for free. If they tell you it will cost you go elsewhere. I know for a fact O'reilly does
Battery or connection issue.
Do NOT jump start it from another running vehicle. You can jump it if the vehicle isn't running.
Charge the battery and if the battery is good, you will be good to go.
