boat ventilation?

I`m looking for an idea for ventilation. The seadoo challenger boats have plenty of places for mold regardless of how clean you attempt to keep it. I`m also looking for the solution to maybe force air thru the hull cavity from front to back. It is possible that I might also add another blower inline in the hose...

I was looking at these cowl vent types if I can find something suitable.

anyone have any ideas, post here

I`m not jiggy with those louver types that require a huge hole in the side...

I know this is probably not the solution you're looking for, but I've got two of these in my boat, one fore and one aft. It works especially well for winter storage. I keep my boat at the lake, on a lift under a covered dock, under a boat cover, year round, a great place for mold and mildew and this stuff really seems to work.

I have used something similar to that when stored under the cover. but this is for full time ventilation either sitting on the trailer or underway...

I see these types of clamshell vents on other boats, can`t see why I couldn`t have some that moves airflow under the floor, thru to the engine room...

Those seem to be a good idea to vent everything.
Bit I assume since they are open, water could get in if you hit a big wake or sub it, then the inside of the hull will be soaked and take longer to dry.

true, and that same wake/wave could hit the floor and run down in the drain as well... they have to be strategically placed for sure.

I just may have a solution. We are not going to be using the front speakers. their locations might provide the ventilation I`m looking for, I`ll have to check for a suitable vent cover for the speaker hole.

Just put a speaker grill over the hole. If you have a fan in the back... it will draw air in.

Personally.... I just leave my boat open for a day when I wash it. My only mildew is when it sits for too long. It can get very humid in PA during the summer... and regardless of good vents... the air is just wet sometimes.

the ones I have now snap on. so I`ll look for something with holes for mounting. or something...

my boat is always open, parked in the garage. it gets humid in there to... wow... welcome to NC weather...
