I need to water proof my sunbrella boat overbut I can not find the 303 water proofing that sin brella state to use here in Mississauga Ontario. What else can I use?
Any help would be appriciated

Im not sure what kind i got and all the boat stuff it at the cottage. What lake you boat on? Id check your local marina they should have it.

Do you ever go to Brydens in milton LOL:cheers:

Don't realy have a marina that I boat out of. I go out all along the St. Lawrence seaway.
Been from Montreal to Windsor.
Thanks for the info I will try Bass Pro next week.

And Brydens, I'm there once a month...

Bees wax....

I think the best stuff I"ve ever used for water proofing was "bees wax". You can buy it in your local shoe store or maybe even at Walmart. I kinda doubt that Walmart will have it, but worth a try. If they do, it'll be around the shoe area with the polishes.

I used to use a leather cleaner to clean my boots, then mink oil for making sealing the pores then, the bees wax for water proofing. It last for a month or a little longer, depending on the weater..........

Further

No matter how much you waterproof Sunbrella, it will leak which can cause severe engine damage if the engine compartmentl fills with rain water. So you want to make sure to properly 'pole' the cover like a tent and test for pooling with a garden hose.
Also good to park the trailer nose-up with the drains removed.

The bow is up and not pooling but the cover does not bead off water . It soaks it up like a sponge. I was just going to clean it then spray it down with a water proofing agent. I found one at Bass pro the last time I was in but Sunbrella says to use 303 agent. But can't find any locally.

Ok you would like to know about the best water proffing agent out there. I will let you know it is west marine's brand and I will tell you why. I bought 1 gallon of it. I put my cover in a container and soked it with their product. I pulled it out and let it dry and a couple of days later it rained I noticed that the rain soaked into the the cover. [I was pissed] I went back to west marine with the empty gallon and explained how I thought I wasted $40.00 + dollars. They gave me a gift card for that amount. After a few rains I began to notice that the cover was repelling water very good. to the point were the cover would hold water for a long time if I did not empty it out [Because I did not have the propper suports for the cover.] This cover was in very bad shape with cat claws in it. I am ashame to say that I thought that there product was bad.] I was wrong.
