Hi
Okay I have installed all my new clear oil pipes and replace both oil pumps I have filled the oil reservoir with oil 1 have removed both oil pumps and there bleed screws. Oil and air is coming out of each oil pump however the lines don't seem to be completely falling up will oil please advise what I should do I have also put a battery drill in reverse on the pump and I have blowing some air by mouth into the oil reservoir From the top oil vent, valve
My understanding once I have all the air
out and the oil piping iand all the lines I then close of the oil bleed screw and open the butterfly on the oil pump fully open and put a drill on the oil pump until I see oil dripping into the manifold from the small pipes.

note i have replaced all oil pipes and oil filters

The big lines should bleed out the air fairly quickly, i held my pump up when I did it and the air bled from the big lines immediately. Using a drill should fill the small lines pretty quickly.

Hi i would love some feedback on my situation I own a Sea-Doo SpeedStar 787 twin engine Two stroke jet boat
I have just carried out maintenance on the boat including replacing all fuel lines and oil lines and filters I am now in the process of putting new oil into the oil box reservoir and I wanting some good clear information on bleeding the system I have currently put the oil in running it down the lines and have a lot of air in the system I have removed the oil pump bleed screws on both oil pumps and still have a lot of air in the system and the oil does not seem to be moving.

Okay I am still having problems bleeding the oil system and hoping for some guidance here I have sent a few Texts, it would be great for someone to reply further I still seem to have air in the lines and can't get it bleed properly do I need to take the bleed screw right out of the oil pumpS or do I leave it just slightly undone for bleeding. Do I pressurise the oil tank

If you want you can remove the screw completely. Be careful, they're is a little washer under the screw, don't lose it. From there just gravity drain the oil line, once it comes out from the pump, put the screw back in and make it snug. Don't go after it like it needs to be torqued to 100ft lbs. It's a small M3 screw with a 7mm hex. I like to run a tank of pre mix thru the first time with the oil pump bring bleed. I mix the gas/oil at 40:1 this way if the pump has air pockets they will work out but you know you have oil pre mixed and you're good to go. Then start it up, reach down and hold the pump wide open while the engine is running, that will inject max oil flow and you can watch the little oil lines pump oil. I just did it over the weekend, took me all of ten minutes.

Please stop posting multiple posts on the exact same thing. We will get to you as soon as we can.

Gravity should be enough to fill the big lines. Please be careful with your oil tank those are getting brittle and are hard to find if you crack yours. If you used zip ties make sure they are completely tight. I personally mixed a small can of premix and ran my engines off that while on hose to get the small lines filled.

Well unfortunately my tank did crack and oil has gone everywhere, The big lines would not completely fill up with oil and dont know why ?
