Black Tip vs Hydro Turf

An update on the Black Tip traction mats. I wanted to get a little experience with Black Tip. I have used Hydro Turf many times with great success, but Black Tip and SBT have really been pushing their product on me, so I thought I would give them a shot. I really like SBT and all they do for us. They only gave away 5 of their aftermarket SeaDoo DESS scanners to their top shops in the country, and we were one of them =) Black Tip and Hydro Turf are the same price, so why not? Well, after ordering a seat cover for a blue and silver 99 RX DI and it being a dissimilar color (the seadoo is a dark blue and the replacement cover is a bright blue) I wasn't real happy. I thought, "one more chance". Well the traction mats look to be of good quality, look very similar to Hydro Turf, but man... they can't cut a straight line!! I was on the phone w SBT this morning telling them how unhappy I was w both experiences. We'll see how they and Watercraft Superstore take care of it. They were just very "wavy" and cut curved, then the other side would b straight. STAY AWAY!! Stick w whatcha know an use Hydro Turf. This is why I wanted to try, to be able to share my experience. Here is a shot with the BlackTip Mats on the back. They look decent in the pics, but the lines were all wrong. Still waiting to hear back from them, haha. I just don't have a source for Hydro Turf. I would rather pay more for the HT though. That is the last time I'm buying Black Tip and I even told SBT they shouldn't be doing buniess with watercraft superstore if they can't produce a good quality product.....
