I'm looking for some seat covers , anyone know of any black Friday sales coming up?

Me too, but covers are first.
I have a friend that works for a company that sells material. He sells the Seadoo specific material and colors (about 9 or so of them). The material is expensive but stretches 4 ways so it is easier to install. I paid about $29 a yard. I have yellow and one of the blues. I've installed covers on a few seats. Some of them I don't have the suppiles or the skills to do correctly. I've done some hellacious work though in repairing but I'm not finish guy by any means. :) The guy that does my seats stitches some of them. Funny thing is that I don't pay any more if we use his material. He said about $15 if I bring material which I think is crazy. He is a bit strange but does great work. He offered to teache me how to do the seats but I declined. LOL Then he went up $50 Ha ha.

In the pictures below is my 2000 RX seat cover that I bought from one of the vendors. I repaired the foam myself and it came out great. The upholstery guy was even impressed. I couldn't get the cover on correctly so I brought it to him. He did a great job and used a steamer and glue in some places. The uphlostery guy I use is does very good work. My opinion of course. :)

My handywork. LOL I used a 40 grit sanding pad on a 4" grinder to shape the foam. It was tedious.

That's really nice cover, will he sell me the material? I need the Aztec red color. Does he make the ones with two colors. I really want red and white? I have the two piece seats (98 gtx ltd)

I bought that cover from one of the vendors but I could not get it mounted correctly so I brought it to the upholestry guy. He had to steam it and I think he put some glue or adhesive to hold the center section of the seat down to keep the contour. I just wanted to give you a heads up that sometimes those covers are a Bear to install. Not that it can't be done.

That GTX is miserable. I did buy an air stapler to help me with the one piece seats. I do those. I don't do the 2 piece seats unless they look easy. I'm a sissy. LOL

This is a link to a vendor that sells Blacktip. I find them cheaper than other brands.
