Bimini Top Speedster 200

Hey again,

I got a bimini top with my boat when I purchased it and last week I thought I would install it and of my suprise the freaking top doesnt hide between the sundech and the rear seats as I seen on others. Instead it lies down in front of the rear seats, that is just not OK.

Is this a special bimini model or am I forgetting something?

I would appreciate if someone could through some light on this problem

What kind of bimini top did you get....OEM or aftermarket?? My bimini top on my speedster200 lies on my sundeck.

I did not get it myself, as I said in first post, I got it with the boat. Is it realy a difference between oem and aftermarket, that the aftermarket makes it lie before the rear seats? Sounds crazy. All mounting points and everything seems to add up to the boat from the picture I saw in the ad when I bought the boat. (it had a picture with the bimini up)

I've got the OEM version and it snugs up right behind the rear seats and sits perfectly.

I checked and it says Westland Covers on my bimini. I checked their website http://www.westlandcovers.com but there was none for speedster 200 =/

Can someone measure the height of their bimini when its flat?

I just cannot believe they would make a bimini that goes down in front of the seats!

post a picture of your bimini top if possible, I am curious to see what it looks like.....maybe it's possible they put a speedster150 top on??

Just checked out that website...those are aftermarket bimini tops. The OEM ones come from a company in Quebec Canada.

I will get a picture tomorrow of it. I remember when its flat, the height is 1,43meters (143cm). If someone could tell me the height of yours....

That's not the OEM bimini top!! OEM tops have legs to the rear, the middle legs and then the two straps to the front. I would through that out and get the proper one, they cost around $400 US

yeah you got a universal fit type that someone tried to make fit your boat. function wise they usually work fine, its just when folded down they aretnt very form fitting to the boat. most wont even fit under a cover. You can either deal with it or get an oem bimini.

Most people choose the universal fit because of price. You can get one for 150-200 and the oem is around 450.
