Bimini top mounts???

Ok the quick release mounts for the bimini top on the side of my 230SE have a mind of their own and release at will..... I am tired of the side of my boat getting gouged by the end of the top. Have any of you had this issue? If so any thoughts on what to use to remedy the problem. I was looking for a side mount with a positive lock like a pin. I am not able to just leave the top in the garage because I need the light. Thanks in advance!

maybe the spring got weak, you can buy a new one or,
you can squirt epoxy to the quick release and just use the screw to attach/detach.
