I had my SP210 at the dealer end of last season and when I picked it up, the Bimini had been removed from the tower and was laying on the floor. I thought it was odd but wasn’t too concerned at the time. For whatever reason when I put it on, the posts no longer fit snugly into the base. It was a busy day with guests so I didn’t fiddle with it too much but have since tried and it just doesn’t want to fit properly. I can’t think of any reason it wouldn’t but beginning to think someone pulled a switcheroo and screwed me over. I just brought the boat to the dealer but they don’t know why it doesn’t fit, and it’s been so long that they aren’t accepting any responsibility…understandable, I should have addressed it right away.
I’ll try to post a pic, but if anyone has the same boat could you take a pic of yours(I’m wondering if there’s a plastic insert in the base or something that makes it fit snugly.
