Hi everyone,

Noticed that the pump works manually. Have tried putting warm soapy water in to desolve any debrie...have tried to spray on the sensor, but the automatic still is not working. Don't trust my kids to use the automatic switch periodically when they drive........ha.

Any suggestions would be so appreciated. Thanks an ton.

Hi Joyce. My automatic switch didn't work either. Instead of messing with seadoos version of an automatic switch, I just installed a rule float switch and tapped into the wires on the dashboard switch. That way it's always on automatic mode, and can be manually overridden if need be.

I'm new to boating and my 2001 Challenger. Am I suppose to turn the switch on while boating and then the sensor will automatically turn on when needed? Sorry for the noob question and off subject

Nope, turning the switch on will literally turn the pump on too. When the switch is off, the pump is off but can be overridden by the automatic water sensor if it senses water.

Gotcha. Ok, thank oh very much. I purchased the boat to start learning and it's like a car, just don't know the names of the parts lol. Thanks again!
