Bilge Pump Sizes

Looking at a bilge pump for my 2 seater, is 200gph sufficient for this smaller sized Seadoo?

I have a Rule 25S on each of my skis for piece of mind. It's a 500 gph pump and is very small to fit down in the bailer area. I've set it up to do both auto and manual mode. In auto mode I flip the switch at the launch and forget about it. It'll ck for water every 2 1/2 minutes by coming on for a couple seconds. I can always do a manual override it by pressing and holding a button on the info center, which uses an empty spot to the left of the mode button.

Unless you are doing submarines and or constantly riding in major surf, I agree with jeremy.

I get the piece of mind argument, but the reality is if you have a catastrophic failure, like a hull insert is torn completely apart, there’s not a pump on the planet that’s going to save you. I’ve got a 500gph manual pump on my 95XP, and I’ve never even switched it on while riding, since the bailers keep the hull dry.
