This might be a stupid question but I'd rather ask it and feel dumb than be smart looking at a sunken boat. Does the bilge pump on my SK run even if the battery switch is in the OFF position? Reason I ask is because this weekend the boat will sit in the water most of the time and there's some rain in the forecast overnight. I don't want to wake up and find a half sunk bathtub where my boat used to be.

Unless the auto sensor side of the pump circuit in the module was wired to the constant lug on the battery switch that should totally isolate the battery from any circuit in the boat.

Paging Mr. racerxxx he will know for certain how that shipped from BRP, he's the man when you need the real deal on Speedster information he's had his since day one.

I would suggest to physically look at it. I say this as, some are direct wired and others are battery switch wired.

I never really noticed to be honest. That being said, with water in the bilge and the battery switch ON and the boat not running it will automatically cycle the bilge pump. I never had water in the bilge with the battery switch off. I don't think it works with the battery off, but a quick check you be to just disconnect the plug and check for voltage with the battery on and off. There has been a few times the pump gets stuck in auto pump so I always check when we beach the boat. Right now I don't think the bilge pump ever cycles, when I pop the drain plug I don't even get a 1/2 cup of water from it.

I doubt we'll get enough rain to even be an issue at all but I know my luck. I'll check it this afternoon if I have time.
