They are known as bailers. They operate on vacuum from the jet pump. THey work great and require no power and very littl emaintenance but they only work when under way.
When I docked yesterday and killed the engine, there was an electric pump sounding noise that ran continuously until it killed the battery. Upon investigation I discovered it doesn’t have an electric bilge pump. Anybody know what this could be?
the only electric motors that it could be is 1. you do have an electric bilge that is buried somewhere not in your photo (typically they are located in the very back where the water would collect). 2. Vts (if your machine has it) 3. your starter motor is shorted in the on position.
