So I have a 2005 Sea Doo Sportster. Everything was OK until saturday i noticed the bilge pump wasn't working with the dash switch. After some digging around and removing the old pump i noticed that: A. the pump was melted into a blob. B. the fuse was blown. So i got another pump with the float built in. I hooked up the wires just as the old one had been and it runs constantly. the float switch doesn't have any effect. However, the switch on the dash also does nothing AND has no power coming in to any wire going to it.
I am thinking of just rewiring the whole thing.
