Finding a bad ground is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Are there more typical places like the mpem or black boxes or anywhere else you guys have found that tend to cause bad grounds than others.

Also what are some easy ways to check for continuity on the grounds.

Basically trying to get a head start on where things might be bad.

On my twin engine speedster, there is a ground from one engine block to another. It Is hard to see and over looked by many so check that along with grounds from battery to other areas. You can also try the jumper cable trick to find bad grounds by using the negative leads from battery to other areas where suspect ground is.

The main grounds are petty easy. Battery to engine, to the starter, ect ect.

Many of the electronics will also have grounds. Such as the DESS, and MPEM. Look for any black wire exiting a wire loom..
