I took my challenger out for her maiden voyage yesterday and was quite pleased with the boat, except for pulling a tube. I had 2 adults and two kids on the boat, and one adult and one kid on the tube. When going to turn it lost a lot of its power and that it had just driving. I had the solas 14/19, 13/18, and the skat trak recommended to me. Which would help me the best?? With me and my girl on it, it was turning around 7600 rpm. When I take it out again, I'm going to take my GPS and see what my top speed was, because it didn't seem to be what people say it should. I'm going to check the oil to make sure it doesn't have too much to see if it will bring my rpm up to the full 8k. I also just had jerry rebuild my supercharger, and my voltage light is coming on. Hopefully that's just the 30A fuse I hear everyone talking about

Keep us updated if you try any of those out. Not sure if the turning loss of speed will change though as that seems to happen with all the jet boats. My 08 C180 215 will see 48mph gps at 7900 with 2 or 3 people in the boat, stock impeller, which is on the good side for a stock boat. Pulling tubes or wakeboards and making turns it still really pulls down the speed as opposed to straight line pulling. My old sportster 215 would do the same, although not as bad as the c180.
