Best and worst of the Gold Coast QLD.

I'm thinking of taking my ski down to gold coast for a ride. Can anyone that knows the area please tell me where the best and worst places are to ride and launch the jet ski? (ramps etc)
I know the gold coast a bit, being from Brisbane, but some local knowledge would be appreciated. Why not also post us some pics of your favorite gold coast ride areas. Thanks

Hi Scottozy.
Good ramps are at the southern end of Bayview st,Biggera Waters. Not to crowded and out of the wind etc.200metres out into the Broadwater.Another is Howard st,Runaway Bay.Its a little more open but it's right on the Broadwater.East of them both is South Straddy and slightly south is Wavebreak Island. It gets pretty busy around that area but if you run North along Sth Straddy there is some good little areas. The photos I posted up were of that area.North of that area is Coomera River. It's starts at Soveriegn Islands, runs up past Sanctuary Cove. It's a nice wide bit of river. It has a northern arm that cuts all the way up to Tipplers Channel. It's deep, well marked channels and is virgin mangrove area. The arm shoots off from Sanctuary Cove area.A few spots along there is where you can really pin your ears back and GO hard.
I cant get out tomorrow otherwise I would have met you on the water somewhere.
Hope this helps you and have a great day.

Gold Coast

Hey! it worked
Move the image downward and you can than see the miles and miles of untouched riding areas,At the nth. end of South Stradbroke Island is Jumpinpin Bar.It is spectacular, and the sand is as white as the image shows.Water is super clear also.On the ocean side of Sth.Straddie Island, is miles of uninhabited beaches.Hard to beat when it's that close.
