Best 2 stroke to run with the merc 210 m2?

What's the best 2 stroke oil to run? I have a 2001 utopia with the 210 merc m2, do I have to buy the merc oil? I snowmobile quite a bit and have cases of the Polaris race oil, would this be a suitable alternative? AMS oil?

Same here. I also use Penzoil and Wally World has it as cheap as $17 for the synthetic blend.

Dr. Honda, do you use the Penzoil synthetic blend or full synthetic?

I also run Penzoil XLF. I switched from Quicksilver premium plus. Haven't noticed a significant difference in smoke at idle, maybe a little less. If nothing else it's almost half the price plus is "Dr" recommended.

I actually gave it a chance, because there are a couple Mercury performance shops who said "It's the best for steel engines". (meaning iron/steel cyl liners, and not Nicasil)
