bent tow pylon

I have bent my towing pylon pulling a tube (07 speedster 200). Is this common? Anyone consider making a stainless steel one?

When I use my pylon for kneeboarding, after I attach the rope, I push the pylon down as low as I can so that the rope doesn't hit the back cover. This way, there's less lateral force on the pylon. You should be able to find another on ebay....if not, try babbittsonline.com.........my favorite sea doo shopping spot!...........happy tubing!
