Beeping

I have a utopia 185 200 hp optimax

can someone tell me if this thing beeps when you start it? I think my buzzer is busted, but then again I don't know cause maybe it only beeps when the oil is low...I was hopeing to get some of the engine troubleshooting via the buzzer.

I don't think the M-2 engines have a trouble code system, connected to the buzzer.

You'll get constant beeping if the engine is over heating and another set of beeps, etc....for low oil.........

But I looked in the manual real quickly and their is no specific test by the beeper like their is on the Rotax's.:cheers:
