Multimeter?.....
Check the fuses. Then, after you charge the battery, use a multi meter to read the battery. It should read somewhere near 12 vdc. Now, start it. Once you get it started, check the battery with the multi meter. If your reading the same voltage, your regulator/rectifier is probably bad. But, I'd check the 15 amp fuse first.
There is a slight possibility that the magneto is bad, but it's normally the rectifier.............:cheers:
Ouch, I just looked up your model. That's the 951. This model has it's rectifier/regulator built into the mpem. So, when you do that test, if it's bad, then you'll need to repair or replace the entire module.........:ack:
