battery kill swicth install

hey everyone just need a little help on how to wire my battery kill switch on my 96 speedster. I am running a deep cell marine battery not the 2 little ones.

there are 2 red cables from the electrical box and 2 black cables I imagine one is the ground.

just like to know how to wire it properly if anyone can help.

I wired mine in right off the battery. This way NOTHING has power when the switch is off and NOTHING can be harmed by charging my battery at 10 amps so I can get a quick charge into it.

That is how I would like todo it. sorry I'm not the best at electrical any chance you have any pics or a diagram on how to wire it that way?

I'm 350 miles away from my skis right now. But here is what I did.

I bought these Battery skill Switches (I have two skis).

And I had [MENTION=41828]Minnetonka4me[/MENTION] make me custom battery cables. Smaller ends for the ski battery and larger where they attach to the kill switch. The cables were 19 inches long and well built.

Find your battery, remove the hot wire and you will have to open the bolt hole a bit to fit the lug of the kill switch. Then install the new cable that Minnie makes from the other kill switch lug and then to the battery. As these are not real heavy, I simply wire tied them to my battery mount bracket.
