Batt. Cable Prob.

Manual doesn't show which cable goes where on a 98 GTI 717 starter. Can someone please help?

The Red wire+, from the battery goes to the starter solenoid in the mpem box. On the solenoid the other Red cable goes to the lug on the starter. The black- cable goes to the engine near the starter for a engine ground.
