has anyone put a ballast in this style of boat, where did you put it/them and what product did u use

really, i didnt think they would hold that kind of weight. But im more tring to get the nose down at about 20mph i loose my plane, i was thinking about putting a fat sac in the center locker, but i dont think that would even do it

Would adjusting the ride plate make a difference?

Unless it's a Merc engine... it's not adjustable.

The problem with putting weight in the front is that you will get bow steer, and it makes it harder to control. Not to mention... the more weight you add to the boat, in any position, will make it harder to stay on plane. If you are trying to stay on step, at low speeds, you need to add trim tabs to the boat so you can lift the transom out of the water.

thanks Dr honda, i've been looking at them today, any u recommend. and what actuator size would i need?
