My engines aren't getting any fuel and the marina said i need to replace the fuel pump going into the gas tank. But everywhere i have looked the only thing going into the fuel tank is the baffle and the fuel pump are located on the carbs. just wondering what you think i am suppose to buy and he said there is no pressure pulling in the fuel to the engines. they use a primor pump to start the engines but cant keep them going. what would you guys think i should replace if there isn't any "suction" pulling fuel to the engines. i have a 97 challenger 1800 which most of you already know since i have had countless problems with. well thanks in advance!!!!!!! and btw i just spent 2500 to get the engine replaced to get it going by the fourth and got it out to the water and neither engine would start. Talk about being pissed:reddevil:

I forget if you had the carbs cleaned or not...there is no pump in the fuel tank... I love it when wanta be seadoo mechanics guess at a problem. If the carbs haven't been cleaned they might need to be cleaned.

Karl is right, carbs are needing some attention. They (well the MAG ones at least since they have the pump) do the work to bring the fuel from the tank, through the baffle and into the carbs.

Points of resistance from the tank up are:
1. Dirty tank
2. Baffle itself
3. Fuel hosing at the baffle (clamps loose?)
4. Fuel selector valve (clamps loose? Is the valve clogged?)
5. Main fuel filter is dirty (external)
6. The rest of the fuel hosing (grey deteriorates and/or loose clamps)
7. Carb internal filters
8. Carbs need to be cleaned and/or rebuilt
