Hey ya’ll,

I just purchased a Seadoo LRV with 150 hrs. I plan to keep it for a long time and use it for my kitesurfing business for many years in the future as I really like the hull size/shape/storage. It runs good but I want to know what parts will wear out and need replacing so I can start collecting a “back-up parts” collection.

Also, what maintenance should be performed to insure longevity?

I could see possibly installing a new/different engine in her when/if necessary…

I’ve maintained a Yamaha Jet Boat, (2007 AR 210) for 210 years on the San Francisco Bay but now I’m entering the Seadoo world so your advice will help get a head start as I begin to care for my new tool.

thanks!!

Complete fuel system service including rebuild carbs with genuine Mikuni parts. Get rid of any gray fuel lines if you have them, replace fuel selector and strainer filter. Change small oil injection lines form oil pump to intake manifold. Change inline oil filter. Only run API-TC full synthetic oil. Change pump oil. Change balancer shaft oil.
