Curious has anyone taken advantage of the Seadoo warranty after bringing home their boat. Usually I decline , and did in this case, any extended warranties on anything I buy. I still have the factory warranty on my Speedster 200 until the end of July. For some reason I'm having second thoughts

Any pros or cons. The big one of course in to cover the supercharger should the ceramics let go. My goal is to get those swapped out before the season starts. I know the re-build would not be covered so that isn't a concern.

Scott,

I normally decline extended warranties on Cars and electronics and so forth however, On the Seadoo I strongly recommend it!! I owned both a Utopia 205 and Challenger 180 and both boats received thousands in warranty repairs. For example, My recent Challenger 180 was in three times for gel-coat cracking(each time it was in there were a few areas cracking), drivers side windshield replaced due to corrosion on the frame and optical distortion, electronic instrument cluster had to be changed due to moisture, Shifter assembly didn't actuate smoothly and more stuff that I cannot recall.

I strongly recommend the warranty on any newish Seadoo.
