Audio on my PWC

I just bought an 08 215 Wake last weekend. It's my first PWC experience and I'm dying without a stereo. I'm planning to install a marine amp to directly connect my iPod to and some speakers! Anyone have experience with this? I've owned 2 boats prior and had pretty serious audio systems in them. For me nothing goes together better than music on the water! I've searched the forum, but no luck.

dude I was browsing thru some marine sites and infact did find some pwc audio kit but cant reemmber where it was. it wasnt cheap tho, some $500 or sumtin.

Yeah, I found their stuff too. Looks like nice equipment, but for $500 I can put together a marine amp and some waterproof speakers.

I bought an amp yesterday, now just need to decide on the speakers to go with.

Nobody here has tunes on their skis?

yeah but speakers are not pointing at you so sound will be faint and not the best quality. people around you will hear it tho!

Someone mentioned to use mirror pods or sumtin and mount them where your mirrors where (since noone looks at those mirrors anyway)

Very good points! I think I'll look into seperates, place the 'subs/mids' in the location pointed out above and the components on the mirrors. Probably wouldn't really be able to hear it above 30mph or so anyway.

i want to gut the rear veiw mirrors and fiberglass some speakers in the empty mirror pockets/holes.. the mirrors are useless anyways..
