Atkinson Dam Queensland

Hi fellow Aussies. Can anyone give me some info about Atkinson Dam? I am thinking of going there next weekend and would like to hear from anyone that has been there.
I understand that a permit is not required to use jetski there, as it is at Somerset Dam.

Hi all, just an update. I went to Atkinsom Dam Queensland on the 22nd May 2011.
I had a fantastic time. I met up with some club members from the Queensland Personal Watercraft Club
QPWC.
I was invited to enter my first closed circuit race when I had emailed them about interest in Atkinson dam. I just want to say that the club members and the race coordinator were some of the friendliest / helpful people I have ever met. Gave me all the details, so I could enter racing.
It was an early start, as the dam is about 2 hour drive from Brisbane, and the shortest way from home is over a mount Glorious. Was glad my car handled towing the jetski up the windy road.
I entered 3 circut races, and 3 drag races.
I actually won 2 of the 3 circut races , and 2 of 3 drags.. Wooohoo! was I happy with that!
Here are 2 links, the one from the start line, was a motor off start. I guess I got the jump on the other guy.
The second is my last lap, in witch I actually had lapped one of the competitors during the 6 lap race.. Please tell me what you think.
