Are Seadoo hulls silconed together?

I have 2 1997 GTI 717 Seadoos. One is for parts. I see that the top and bottom hull are riveted together, but were they also siliconed together? One hull has a hole in the top half and the other one has a hole in the bottom half. It would be nice to swap them to have a hull with no holes.

No, silicone was never used to put the hulls together.

They use a two part high strength epoxy, the rivets really don't do anything. The epoxy is actually stronger than the fiberglass so you would basically destroy the top and bottom hulls trying to get them apart.
