Aqua step on 01 Seadoo GTX

I have a quick question..I bought a New unused Aqua Step on Craigslist. I have the step, hinges etc. but did not have any bolts or AVK inserts. I really don't know which I need to use? I looked at their website but no real help I was looking inside of the seadoo and I don't see how I could possible use bolts and nuts...no way to get to the nuts in the back cavity of the boat. So I assume I would use AVK inserts..any help or knowledge would be appreciated..

Been brainstorm'n on it, think inserts are only alternative, since you cant get in there, from what you've said. Be nice to put barstock to each bolt(inside the hull), so the weight, when step is used, is pull'n on the whole deck, and not the bolts...good luck....fiberglass those inserts, though...:cheers:

What do you mean fiberglass the inserts? It says in the instructions to use silicone to seal the holes/bolts?
