APE Exhaust. Worth it or not?

Is it worth buying? Some people like it, some people dont. What should I spend for it? I found someone that has one used for $300. Thanks.

i will keep my ape and have selling my rossier!
ape pipe work has 6900-7000tpm
use pilot 75

wont do anything unless you put flame arrestors, impellor..etc........is it worth it, let alone the time/possible blown motor, until you get ur carbs set right?:cheers:

if you know what ur doing as far as, re-adjusting the carbs, lowering the pop-off in the carbs to the right psi, can understand whats a "cut'n out" and a "bog"...etc, then yeah, why not...who doesnt want power, BUT...if ur going to do these mods, but dont know the characteristics of how/what works, then I think your in trouble, plus out a lot more money. Yeah, it'll run awesome at a particular lake..etc, then you take same ski with you on vacation, and its a different altitude, condition..as far as outside temperature..etc, next thing you know, wham...aint work'n right, bog'n or cut'n out,..and you dont know what adjuster to mess with, or plug to install to compenste for excessive/not enuf fuel....:cheers:
